Naïo Relaunches Under New Leadership, Refocuses on Core Farm Robots Ted and Oz
A French court has approved the takeover and relaunch of agricultural robotics firm Naïo Technologies, which will now operate simply as Naïo. All current robot models will continue to be supported, but the company will concentrate development and commercial efforts on its two most proven platforms: Ted (for vineyard weeding) and Oz (for small-scale and diversified farming).
The company’s new leadership is led jointly by entrepreneur Antoine Monville and COO Matthias Carriere, with strategic backing from financial and institutional partners. Former Continental Automotive France president Jean-Marc Nozeran will chair the Supervisory Board.

Naïo entered judicial recovery in June due to declining revenues. Under the new structure, the company will simplify operations, reduce costs, and return to a direct robot sales model through its established dealer network—stepping back from leasing and service-heavy models.
The relaunch is supported by a €6.4M financing package from investors including Mirova, Bpifrance, and the Occitanie Region. The plan aims to scale production, expand European distribution, and rebuild customer confidence, to produce 100 robots annually and reach operational balance by 2028.

“We’re rebuilding step by step,” said Carriere. “The priority is trust, reliability, and delivering real value to farmers.”
