Boston Dynamics and Analog Studios Form UAE Partnership to Scale “Physical Intelligence”

Boston Dynamics and Analog Studios have announced an exclusive regional partnership to deploy advanced robotics and “physical intelligence” across the United Arab Emirates, beginning with Boston Dynamics’ Spot quadruped robots.

The first wave of deployments will focus on practical municipal and infrastructure tasks, including park inspections, environmental and accessibility monitoring, and preventive maintenance—aimed at improving livability and operational responsiveness in public spaces.

“Our robots paired with Analog’s AI platform will unlock new use cases in urban planning and citizen services,” said Robert Playter, CEO of Boston Dynamics. “This will accelerate Spot’s role from an enterprise asset tool into a full facility and city-scale monitoring solution.”

Under the agreement, Abu Dhabi–based Analog will serve as Boston Dynamics’ sole certified reseller, integrator, and service partner in the UAE, while also leading expansion across the wider Middle East and North Africa. The companies also plan to co-develop a next-generation robotics platform that embeds Analog’s real-time intelligence layer.

A City-Scale World Model

Analog will integrate Spot into the UAE’s country-scale world model, a continuously updated digital twin of the built environment. This foundation enables operators to query real-world conditions—such as heat stress on streets or maintenance needs in public parks—and dispatch robots accordingly.

The world model acts as the coordination substrate, allowing fleets of robots and sensors to perceive, navigate, and collaborate safely in shared human environments. A digital agent called Ana provides reasoning and tasking based on live and historical context.

A Platform Built for Expansion

Initial deployments are planned with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipalities and Transport, with broader rollout expected to cover high-value public assets across the emirate.

“Abu Dhabi shows what’s possible when the physical and digital operate as one,” said Alex Kipman, founder and CEO of Analog. “We are building an adaptive ecosystem that grows smarter with every new robot and sensor added.”

Designed in the UAE and built to scale globally, the platform is positioned as a foundation for future multi-robot coordination, public infrastructure automation, and national-level physical AI systems.
