IntBot to Run Entire CES 2026 Booth Using a Humanoid Robot
IntBot announced today that it will operate its CES 2026 exhibition booth entirely without human staff, placing its humanoid social robot, Nylo, in full control of visitor engagement on the show floor.
On the first day of CES 2026, Nylo will serve as the sole exhibitor at IntBot’s booth, greeting attendees, initiating conversations, answering questions, and managing the fast-paced social dynamics of one of the world’s largest technology trade shows. The demonstration is designed to test whether autonomous social robots are ready to function independently in complex, unscripted public environments.
Unlike traditional robotics demonstrations that rely on tightly choreographed interactions, IntBot’s CES exhibit will place Nylo in continuous, open-floor operation. The company says the goal is to show that social autonomy has matured beyond laboratory settings and controlled pilots.
“The industry has seen tremendous advances in digital AI, but most of that intelligence remains trapped on screens,” said Lei Yang, CEO of IntBot. “Nylo represents the transition from digital AI to physical agents—systems that can step into human spaces and interact with people on human terms.”
Nylo is powered by IntBot’s proprietary IntEngine platform, a multimodal social intelligence system that integrates vision, audio, and language processing in real time. According to the company, the system enables the robot to coordinate speech, facial expressions, and gestures while deciding when and how to engage with passersby—capabilities considered critical for operating in open public venues such as trade shows, hotels, and retail spaces.
The CES demonstration builds on prior real-world deployments. In 2025, Nylo served as an autonomous AI information desk at NVIDIA GTC, interacting directly with thousands of attendees. IntBot currently operates a commercial fleet of social robots in hospitality environments, where they handle routine guest interactions and frequently asked questions alongside human staff.
IntBot is inviting media, partners, and attendees to interact freely with Nylo during the show. The company emphasizes that there will be no scripted demonstrations or remote human operators involved.
